We aim to inspire our community to innovate new aerospace technologies for the betterment of the world. There are many technologies being implemented into other industries, such as search- and-rescue; data communications; surveying; cinematography; research; and more. With so many advancements, we want our community to be able to leverage them into their own passion projects. There are already UCR students hard at work in developing and advancing technologies, from building autonomous aircraft to developing liquid-fueled rockets. We can help encourage more of these ground-breaking projects by gathering support and providing an opportunity to learn more about aerospace.

I graduated in June 2020 with a bachelors in electrical engineering, and am now a Systems Engineer at Raytheon Technologies. I am currently pursuing higher education via the company’s educational assistance program.
My name is Melissa and I was the IEEE secretary from 2017-2018. I graduated UCR in 2018 with a degree in Computer Engineering, and I currently work at Raytheon Technologies as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
I’m Mel, an adrenaline seeker and music admirer. Facials and the gym is my go to. I am also a Radiation Engineer at Raytheon Technologies full time and part time Grad student at The George Washington University.
I graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's in Electrical engineering. I was the Academic Development chair of UCR SWE 2014 - 2015 and also involved in UCR-UAS. I am currently in a System Engineer at Northrop Grumman.
